Oh sorry, I thought you were stating $45/3mo/10G, then +3mo for signing up. It's $60/3mo/10G.

Mint uses TMo towers and no roaming so Mint won't have less dead spots.

Has anyone used Mint for a GPS tracker ?

I need a tracker for my work truck and have an extra TMO phone ,

If you have used a phone for a tracker , what App did you use and what features do you think are Important ?

Thanks for your advise and thanks Mint for the deal.

I was so hoping the answer would be simple. like this site

If you are in a place with wifi, then you might not need an unlimited plan. You did not say.
- I travel a lot for work (pre-pandemic) in hotels 150+ nights a year and use less than 2 GB per month, mostly on Waze and searching for places to eat in 'x' city. Sometimes, on hotspot when 'x' airport internet slow and I need to connect or want to connect to watch a movie.
- At home, I have an internet provider. So WFH meant < GB per month, only when traveling about outside of my home internet each month

I signed up for Mint in September - Samsung S10 (transferred) and then added new phone - iphone 12. Both work well in NC where I live as well as in places I have traveled - FL, NY, PR and AZ. I stayed in hotels.

I just switched and ported my number to Mint today, it took 5 minutes max. I had AT&T prepaid. I called in to get account # and also made sure my pin # was correct. Zip code is also needed for Mint activation, mine was defaulted to somewhere in Texas because I never bothered to change it after AT&T activation. Once you have correct account, pin and zip digits, I don't see how the porting would fail since it's an automated process...
I had both issues -
- I bought a new phone and activated in 5 min or less
- I tried to transfer a number and it was frustrating as h*ll. I ended up calling mint CS from the new phone, while I had the prior company on the other phone... Mint CS walked the other provider customer *service* through the process as they use to work at AT&T. 5min later... both phones on Mint.Applause

If I could go back in time, I would never have become a mint mobile customer. 6 months in I had to eat the cost for my wife and daughter's 1 year plan because I had to get them on a usable network. I am suffering through until my 1 year is up.

Could someone please advise whether this deal can also be bought at Target?

I see the 3 month 10 GB plan at Target for $60 but it does NOT have an additional 3 months.

Will Mint honor cards purchased at Target or best Buy?

Both have the same deal. Don't know why you don't see it. Mint will also charge recovery fee.

I am literally standing at a Target store. The SIM kit there just says 3 months.
There is nothing written on the package saying that there is an ADDITIONAL 3 months free.
Hence my question: Are the free months ONLY at Mint.com?
And yes - Target does NOT charge the recovery fee. It's $60 + taxes

Thank you for the link. Based on this does the plan HAVE to be activated by 1/7/2022 to get the 3 free months? Or can we activate after 1/7/2022 - as long as we purchased the SIM earlier?
