Like how it's so, so much more effort the delivery guy to deliver 4 burgers vs. 1 burger to the same address, right? Wink
It's not like how wait staff has to deal with the needs of serving 4 people vs. 1 person.

I tip based on distance from the restaurant for delivery, not percentage of my order. The delivery service should be paying them a living wage, my tip should be for excellent service, but unfortunately things don't work that way in the real world, so I usually tip a minimum of $5 per delivery order regardless of the cost of the item.

If the items all fit in one bag and is not super heavy or bulky, I don't tip them any more if its 6 items or one item.

A 5$ non mandatory tip would make you vomit? I'd like to see what you do when someone doesn't tip then lol, probably have a stroke. Tip cultural is ridiculous and needs to go away, it shouldn't be any concern of the customer who's already paying for a service how much the restaurant is paying it's employees. Should the restaurant pay more, yes they should. Should I be responsible for paying your salary because your employer doesn't pay enough? No I don't think I should. There's a reason we're literally the only country in the world that tips, in fact in most countries it's actually seen as disrespectful to offer a tip.

I could go on about this for hours, like how barbers charge you 20$ for a haircut and then still expect a tip on top of that, when they are literally just doing what you paid them to do. Even subway and dominos ask for a tip now on the credit card machine, when I'm literally going in to order and pickup my own food, they want a tip for just doing what they are getting paid to do. It's ridiculous.

The whole tipping them because they "only make like 2$ an hour" thing is really just bs, because I guarantee you, if you ask any restaurant server would they rather get 15$ an hour and no tips, or 2$ an hour plus tips, almost all of them would choose the tips. My brother is a waiter at Perkins, and he regularly makes 25-30$ an hour just off of tips. Sure there are bad nights but there's also nights where he makes 250$ in a couple of hours, and we are in the south, in one of the poorer states. Not sure how well the tips are with doordash and Uber, but actual sit down restaurants, servers make a good wage.

I remember when UberEats first rolled out, it said tips were NOT recommended. And now the tips are required and the app also charge all sorts of fees and marked up prices. I don't blame drivers bit I quit using those apps.

It isn't very clear how to make it into a gift order.

When you're at checkout under 'Gift Option' hit Send as Gift and fill in the name to gift to and then pick whether to contact the recipient or you and hit Done and it should go back to checkout then you can apply the code.

Please dont leave 40% discount tips to the drivers that sacrifice their car to make a living. Ive seen it too many times from serving tables and delivery jobs. Good service should not be discounted.
When I clicked on the banner it only takes me to places that basically will send through the mail. Am I looking at something wrong or is it because I live in the middle of nowhere?

I agree. $50 order minus 40% would be $30. You should still tip according to the original price + more if you live really far

I don't understand why apply discount then tip to make it same as discounted price. The extra charges after discount itself is $10 which includes their pay for the delivery
