May not be a deal breaker for some, but was for me unfortunately. Regardless, great find OP!
Also to help others make an informed decision, the 3060 looks to be 75 watts, which is perfectly fine for this price point and a non-gaming machine, but you're looking at around a 15% performance reduction compared to a higher (95, 120, or 130) watt 3060...likely more at this resolution. Temper your expectations accordingly (advice I need to follow more often than not).
Edit: just saw gyraxis had already mentioned the wattage in the thread, cheers my dude.

Just picked up an open box Ideapad pro 5 from microcenter for 850ish but it's having a lot of wifi issues.

you might want to wait for the 5800h version to come back avail. It seems like this model is still somewhat new to the north american market.

The better screen is well worth the extra $, but you are comparing two different classes of laptop.
showing 1-2 weeks right now in the link. It was 4+ months, then 3+ months in the days before I posted. Soon as it showed 1-2 weeks, I ordered one and posted it here.
Soldered ram to mobo is Cheap move by mfg, not warranted on a 1k+ laptop maybe they will solder the ssd drive too next.. then they can keep them in China..

Bought the ThinkBook 15 Gen3 AMD with the Ryzen 7 5700U, 16gb ram, 512gb SSD, 15.6" 300 nit screen etc for approx $700 inc tax after cashback + about $40 lenovo credits to use later.
I understand that this one has a slightly bigger, better screen, dedicated GPU but other than that, for the average non graphic-heavy user could this really be worth $400-500 more?

The screen is the biggest difference you go from a 400 nit QHD 16:10 100% SRGB screen and good adobe RGB % to a 300 nit crappy 45% NTSC / 62% SRGB with bad contrast, light bleed and etc.
Edit: Dont forget the SD 8% CB
Another 5% if you have a student in the family using id.me
