I don't like how this deal is set up. In order to cancel the service you have to do so through your Bestbuy account. Someone on BB stated that a BB associate told them that will refer you to Tidal if there's an issue managing your Tidal account. Tidal on the other hand has a FAQ page that states that BB is responsible for handling billing issues.

This deal is not worth the bother. MQA is a gimmick. It's not truly lossless high resolution. Qobuz is better if you care about audio quality and functionality. Qobuz has a website with deep filtering for metadata and they also have booklets. If you're okay with standard lossless or lossy compression than Apple, Amazon, and Spotify are the way to go.

Tidal won't survive through the next economic slump. Offering ridiculous low price deals like this is a sign of weakness.

Once you try Tidal you'll never go back to using any other streaming service. The master release quality is amazing.. Worth every penny.

I've had such a positive experience with it. I use it every day and it's blown me away. You will hear sounds in songs that you've never heard before on your favorite albums.

lol this sounds like a fake paid review, but I really do like it. I have every other service as well and this is definitely #1 in quality if you're an audiophile.

I did this deal a few years ago and the membership wouldn't work with my account. I ended up just moving on.

Moving forward, found out I got charged for a renewal even though I was never able to activate it to begin with. I tried to get a refund and got told no, even though I literally never received the service I paid for.

Don't do the deal, it isn't worth the head ache.
It's really not their fault that you didn't cancel before the trial period was up and you were charged for a renewal.

I would assume it's pretty much a given from when the service was launched by some celebrity partnering with other celebrities, that it was mostly designed for quick profits and doomed to fail. So I am not surprised when Tidal offers deals like this to gain quick profits before it closes doors, and a surge of subscribers who only use their service because of the deals.

They are an unethical business been used to manipulate the charts.
someone is grumpy today. i guess you would rather have only one company offer steaming music and charged you a leg per song. you should go google 'blockbuster music' so that you don't sound ignorant.

There are plenty of alternatives to Tidal, no one is talking about Blockbuster music. Also what is the point of having multiple companies to compete when you stick with the one who does shitty things?

This is a really good deal…and the timing is great for Tesla owners because they are just starting to roll out 2021.40 updates to most of the fleet, which includes the addition of in-car TIDAL support. Awesomeness! 😎

Disagree. It's fine if you don't have kids, and/or only ever use headphones at work, but there's no content filter or family friendly option, and inevitably it shuffles to a song with plentiful f-bombs anytime my kids or coworkers are around. I use Amazon Music way more, because I listen on speakers usually, and don't need to worry about discovering new language in songs I thought I knew, while my kids or colleagues him along.

I just canceled earlier today. Not a problem. And they give you the option of cutting the service immediately or keeping the trial, even after canceling.

It must suck having to live your life tiptoeing around your coworkers and kids every second to the point you can't enjoy the music you want.. let that sink in.

Go be an adult and jam your tunes out. You only live once.
