Best security camera (with light) option for remote cabin that can be accessed from afar?

I have tried to research this, but clearly am not educated enough on all the different options to understand what can and what cannot work for our situation.
We have a cabin in a remote location (no phone line, internet or wifi of any kind, but there is power) and would like to be able to check on it when away (intruders, critters, weather etc.)
What are our options as far as remote cameras go and what is involved to be able to connect to it?
Please explain anything in an idiot proof way, I know what I want, but am seriously clueless about the technical side at this point.
