The Parfum Version is more dense and the woods/earthier base notes are more pronounced, whereas the EDT orange/citrus freshness is more pronounced. Ultimately test each and decide which one you like. The original is what I find the most versatile/fresh. So which one is better? Id say both are great and it just comes down to testing and preference.

The EDP is pure class for which longevity, sillage and projection is incredible. It is more citrusy.
The EDT is amazing as well. I actually like the drydown on EDT better. This more towards bitter orange type smell.
Though I maybe disagree that they're "completely different scents." In my experience, parfum, EdP and EdT are at least reminiscent of one another.

You might be able to get better pricing at sites like Foreverlux or fragranceX, but these are good ideas for you.
It is a long-lasting perfume on my skin, a bit too sweet.
