We bought this model from Target for $175 back in April 2020. In August 2021 it stopped pumping water from the reservoir for either carafes or K-Cups. We have pretty clean city water, so no apparent mineral build-up or other water-induced issues. I was able to force some water into the pickup with a turkey baster and get it partially pumping. I ran a bottle of Keurig cleaning solution through it--no change--then tried a vinegar and water solution, small improvement. It now runs normal brews from K-Cups, but the carafe side brews 25% less than specified. Since it was four months out of warranty, Keurig would not replace it. They only offered a percentage discount on new machines at regular prices on their website.
Overall disappointed that such an expensive machine lasted only a year and some change, and Keurig was not flexible on replacement. At this slick price it is more worthwhile, but I would not pay anything near full price for this model.
I picked this up a couple of weeks ago for the same price and have enjoyed it. We primarily use the carafe for brewing, which does a fine job. Coffee comes out at a lower temperature than the Cuisinart brewer it replaced. If hotter is better for you, then this might not be the coffee maker for you.
It comes out hot, yes. I just know that some people like their coffee realllly hot (180-190 degree range) this puts out coffee more in the 170 degree range which is good and hot for my tastes. I like the unit and think it puts out a decent cup of coffee.
One thing I would recommend is getting the reusable filter basket. It does not come with one and takes a specific size. Something like this: https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B08T7...UTF8&psc=1

Optimal coffee brewing requires specific temperature ranges tor extraction - this temperature is too low. I'd much rather have a coffee maker that meets that criteria (therefore better coffee quality in general) - and then have to want an extra few minutes for it to cool off.
Has anyone looked around to see if it's possible to reprogram/hack the unit to increase the temperature? (Since there's no option/feature to do so) I turn to the SD community bc unfortunately my skills are limited to set it and forget it
I got this yesterday . Have only used the pod function, but i tried with real k cups and also refillable ones i got off Amazon. Even on 8 ounces and "strong" setting, all i get is a extremely weak cup of brown water . Very disappointing cup of coffee, to say the least.
