True endgame headphones at $599! Some very minor nitpicks I have is that it does lack a bit of bass slam, HOWEVER it seems to save all that energy for sub-bass extension (rumble). Soundstage is more tall than it is wide, so don't expect HD 800 levels of wideness. Excellent clarity and depth. Many reviews state that these are lightning fast, but personally I feel that these are only above average and not excellent in terms of speed. Paid $699 for these, and they are worth every penny.
Driving these with a Schiit Lyr 3 multibit w/ a Tung-Sol New Production tube. The stock JJ tube is garbage.
Just picked up a pair of these. I'm not usually one to spend this much on a pair of cans, but this was a great purchase. I'm powering these with a Schiit stack (Magni Heresy, Modi 3+, and Loki Mini) and it sounds amazing. For reference, I came from using Beyerdynamic DT770s and Sennheiser 6XXs and the Anandas blow them out of the water.
