Are you talking about the free Bitcoin offer for creating a new account? It took 6 days for me to get mine.
The "learn and earn" coins usually come right away though.
So would you recommend that I get both? Only use the pro for trading and use regular coin base for their freebies and for the wallet?

Just my opinion, but these deals are not worth it. Let me explain why. They always tend to give you the amount at a higher rate because you end up with less than the amount promised in your account. You then can't really sell because they charge a $3 fee to sell but then you get taxed for them at the end of the year irregardless. It's basically a way for cryptos to gain more holders and the value for you is detrimental. I wish this could get pinned because people need to know the truth.
You can convert these free cryptos to a more legit crypto such as BTC or ETH.
