It's a little more advanced to: drifting for boost, crashing others cars and jumping tricks for points.
This game is really 1 car and 4 course (all re-skinned to the others), So, I see price dropping to the $19.99 soon. Good multiplayer game with other, pretty boring in other modes after a few go over.
Yes yes yes. Its a racing game on rails, so there is no worry of getting turned around or hitting something and getting stuck. You can just hold down the accelerator and be competitive. All of the levels are linear (Cant go off the track), and you have fun unlockable vehicles you can attain easily by finding keys on each track, usually hidden behind destructible road hazards. You can unlock things like a Firetruck, Triceratops, and an Apache Helicopter to name a few. The game also features catch up, which means the vehicles behind actually move faster than the vehicles in front, to tighten the pack up. All of the fun level events are scripted and tied to the position of the players' car, so your 5 year old will always see the events happening. He wont miss the helicopters shooting the track up with missiles, the dinosaurs crossing the road, or the giant Ferris Wheel rolling down the road just ahead of him to name a few examples.
You can play 4 player multiplayer on one console split screen with each person having one Joycon, or a combination of any other Switch controllers you own.
There isn't online, but the races are so short (some under a minute) that you'd spend more time finding and setting up a race than actually racing.
