The 2020 Moto G Power will be the one I end up with
Positives: Excellent battery life with a big screen. Stock Android. Accurate colors. Little Motorola bloatware. Generally fast response time. Fingerprint reader and face unlock works well. Normal games runs just fine with no lag.
Cons: Screen is dim and reflective. Low memory so most apps will need to restart if you switch between them. Camera takes a long time to activate and actually take a photo. Photo quality is mediocre. No NFC.
Conclusion: This is an excellent budget phone and great bang for the buck if you aren't looking for all the bells and whistles. I like taking a lot of photos and printing them out so its camera hardware and software doesn't quite cut it for me. If you just want to shoot the occasional photo and look at them in your gallery, it's good enough.
The 2022 has a completely downgraded chipset that runs slower than even the G7 Power which is crazy. The only new feature is 90hz mode, but now the battery drains even more. The camera is now f1.8 and it does the fake 50mp images at 12.5mp. Very cheap build quality too. And still no NFC

Ultra-bonehead move on Moto's part to drop NFC on most of their U.S. market phones.
