Cheap coffee makers do not get as hot as this. They do not have remotely close to the same shower head. They do not brew nearly as fast. The SCAA has explicit requirements for brew time to certify coffee makers. The cheap ones don't do it.
I doubt the beans you're using are quality, but to make such ignorant comments is laughable.
To people who care: quality for this is on par with Bonavita but the machine is better made and more durable. Great if you need to make a large pot that will produce a quality cup for multiple people.

1) the rainfall showerhead keeps water streaming evenly over all the beans.
2) Precision heating elements make the water exit at very specifically controlled temperature.
3) General design allows the water to steep for a very specifically controlled time.
Not to mention a 4) preprogrammed ability to "bloom" of the grounds and wetting of the filter.
This yields for more even extraction of coffee from the beans at their expected "sweet spot."
Of course you could try to dial it in even more which is what the clover machines were doing.
It can be a night and day difference with regular beans and not just for coffee snobs. It's like stepping up from the $6-$8 bottle of wine to the $15-$30 bottles.
You really don't know until you've tried it.
Some people can't tell or don't care for the difference between $6 wine and $30. To those people, keep calm and carry on!

Which one should I keep?
This one I cannot speak to personally as I haven't used it yet, but I'm excited about a slightly smaller coffee maker than the Breville, a higher than 5 cup capacity of my old Bonavita, and I have read good things about it in reviews. Also the single cup option appears easy and will be used often in my house
In my option (again, having not used this one yet), I would say keep the Bonavita to save a few bucks if you don't mind the open carafe while brewing design, and a slightly reduced capacity pot. They will both likely give an equally tasty brew.
