its not cheapest, it comes on sale for this price pretty often. but still good price for good tool. i keep one in my car. takes 3-4 minutes to inflate 20" tire from 25 to 45 psi.

I personally prefer to pay the little extra (when on special at TD) for the dual inflators. But these do work.

I was just using mine, it reads higher when running so you have to let off the trigger and give it a second to calm down before believing the guage. If you do that mine seems pretty accurate, reads the same or within half a psi of my other two digital gauges. I really like it, definitely worth $20. I wish it had a way to lock the trigger though, if your adding a lot of air to a truck tire it takes awhile.

Had it (the dual inflator) for a couple of years now, it's awesome.

It's particularly amazing for filling up all the kids' floatie toys in the summer (and saves my lungs).

Works well filling up tires. Digital guage so you can set it for whatever psi, plug it into a tire, and give it a minute or two to inflate. It's not going to beat a 'real' air compressor, but for what it is, the dual is an awesome value at the $40ish it normally is, and even cheaper on sale.

Can anyone verify if the gauge is accurate for car tire inflation? I have the analog dial version of this inflator and it's a pain to have to detach and use a tire pressure gauge to get pressures correct.

I read through a few pages of reviews on HD and it seems that the gauge being inaccurate is a semi common complaint.

Somewhat. I bought two, one shows 27psi, another 28.5 on my front tire.

It wouldn't work at all. This one is for tires and things that can accept a needle- you need the dual inflator that has the high volume fan tool as well, not just the high pressure compressor

I have both. This one is fine for bike tires and balls. It can work for car tires in a jam, but the dual inflator lets you set the desired pressure and automatically stops when it's reached so this one only ever gets used for bikes. I wouldn't want to blow up an air mattress or raft with this one, that's where the dual inflator is better. One of my favorite uses for the dual inflator is blowing out dust from PCs/server and other equipment with the high volume mode.

I don't regret buying both, but if I had to choose one it would be the dual inflator just for all the extra utility it provides.

It's useful but I rather pay $10 extra to get the better one from Direct Tool Outlet when it's on sale with free shipping. That one has automatic shut-off when pumping to desired PSI.

This one doesn't have a shut-off switch so I often press the trigger by accident when I'm done with it and moving it to other tires or to the garage. Also, it can take a couple of minutes to pump 10 psi on a tire so you have to crouch or squat to hold the trigger. You can use a rubber band to hold it but you have to manually check the PSI.

Doesn't it get too hot when filling car tire from 25 to 45?
Mine gets really hot filling bicycle tire.
