I purchased this laptop in August for about $200 more.
It is a great laptop. I tried like 5 other laptops before going with this one.
You can adjust the cp/gpu speed by lowering the profile to silent using the Asus software.
There is a neat button you can click to open the software.
The high refresh rate, great looking screen and large screen format are awesome.

This laptop does run warm/hot depending on what you are doing so it is not the best for using on your lap or in the bed for more than a hour or 2 hours. The fans can pump the heat and warm your room lol.

From one of the reviews:

"The M16 GU603HM-211.ZM16 has 8 GB of DDR4 memory soldered to the board, and another 8GB on a 3200 MHz DIMM. The system supports a maximum 40 GB of memory. Other M16 variants have different amounts of memory.

One of the answered questions says you can connect 3 external monitors to this, but is confusing on how they've answered it, more like 2 monitors and this as 3rd.

Anyone who has this, can you please confirm how many ?

I've bought one a couple of days ago. For those not being able to buy directly from Bestbuy website, you can also buy it on ebay. Bestbuy has listed it there with the same price: https://www.ebay.com/itm/203682752477

Love how most of these do not list max ram. Or if you can add a hard drive. Or the ports in the description (lack there of) or even ram for the GFX card. No time to search this in my own. Just list it right there. Make it easy. Sale lost. IMHO
GFX cards are not produced anymore

And hard drives do not fit in high end gaming laptops or ultrabooks anymore, they're scrapped. Only NVME SSD's fit

LOL dude if you don't have time to research a $1500 purchase or understand what you're talking about then SD is not the place for you. RTX 3060 mobile comes with 6GB VRAM stock, period. Of course you can upgrade system RAM on this. 8gb soldered and 8gb DIMM, 40GB max like most ASUS models nowadays.

It took me _at most_ 5 minutes to find the details for this.

It has 1 dimm slot, 8gb integrated (so you can hit 40gb max)

Gpu has what, 6gb? Look it up

It has 2 nvme ports, one of which supports gen4 nvme. I had to change the port for the included drive since it was occupying the gen4 compatible slot. The second slot is pcie gen3 OR sata compatible.

That's really it... You're willing to shell out that much dough without researching it 🤦 - I'm a busy guy too but YEESH

Yeah a retailer's website is never the first or last place I go to research an item…a retailer will only tell you what a manufacturer would want you to know and a manufacturer doesn't want to encourage you to open up the device.

They don't want to give you the details because they want you to read "super fast for gaming", be lazy, and buy immediately.

Difference in screen size, processor, and graphics card. Still torn between the two. Any reason I should pick one over the other...Hmmm.
Doing research now.

Pick the other one, it has better battery life, run cooler and more powerful GPU.
