I've been waiting for this for a while. I ordered a round of Copper Adventurer A/T in load range E for my truck. They did raise the price by $50 a tire, but for my tire size this is still $200 cheaper than the typical buy 3 get 1 free sale they run.

Why do they do this? Raise the price and think we wont notice... Just seems shoddy to me

I've run the numbers. For me this is the best deal out of all the tire shops and warehouse clubs.

***11/26 Update
Placed the order online 11/25. Dropped off car and key in the dead of the morning pre-opening. When I went to pick up the car I was not harrased with any upsell, or recommendations. In fact the price I paid was $3 less than the website quoted me. YMMV.

Got 4 Cooper Adventure Tours for around 400 for my Honda Accord with installation. I was going to do 4 Goodyear Assurance tires from the Walmart deal for around the same price, but they canceled my order 😅

Bogus. They have no kumho tires at my locations. Crummy way to push whatever they can max revenue.

They actually set the original tire prices back down to what they were last week. My appointment is tomorrow so I'll get them at $95 cheaper than what they originally quoted me. Overall that's a savings of $300 less than the usual buy 4 get 1 free sale.

Tip: change store locations if the first one doesn't have the tires you want on sale.

Costco, Walmart, and other tire deals didn't have any tires that fit my car. One location of four for pepboys in the area had some Kumho's available, on sale. Saved >$100 versus cheapest tire option of all other tire shops for new tires.

Thanks for the Tip but in SoCal it's bogus. Tried all 10 locations, No kumhos for my size. Scratch off Pep Boys. Went for the costco deal.

I was able to price match to Discount/America's tire. ~$20 less on install
