my dad bought a hisense just a couple of years ago and within about one year the entire image on the screen shifted towards blue. i looked it up and found out that the backlight LED is blue so they used a yellow filter over it to, i guess produce white light. and it turns out, the yellow filter is just some kind of yellow paint over some plastic piece, or something, and the paint or whatever apparently flakes off. then you have everything blue. so now everything looks like how half of all movies intentionally make everything blue for some idiotic reason. and when you're watching one of those movies, then it's double blue.
point is you'd think a part like that would be considered important enough to do it right. thanks, hisense, for being the ultimate in cheapskates.
