I also don't really understand why this is being posted as a deal. The website makes it look like this is just the perpetual price. I must be missing something.

This is a great budget sound bar I have it on a 65 inch TV in my medium sized 1 bedroom apartment. It sounds great...however this price isn't a deal. I bought mine on Amazon last year for like $100. For sheer quality ita probably worth $150 but I wouldn't pay $150 for it if that makes any sense.

I've been having issues with this sound bar from time to time with the sound losing signal from the TV or the soundbar turning off. It happens about once every 2-3 months. I just keep telling my wife that it's updating when I have no idea why it happens.

Makes perfect sense and is exactly what I was thinking. When I'm seeing people in this thread indicating they bought it for the same price 2 years ago, that makes it pretty questionable imo.

Just bought the Sony OLED. having it installed, was told they would also install a sound bar (which is included in price..) should i buy a sound bar for the tv recommendations. Know Costco has a few on sale) many thanks

It's not so much a lie, it's kinda like "It's probably updating.." because I don't know what's actually happening and I don't think it's worth contacting tech support. I think it puts our mind at ease thinking that it updates when there's a possibility that it's failing over time.

The only bad things I have to say is that I've tried a couple of these low budget Vizio systems, and the satellite speakers have this kind of airy sound when audio isn't playing through them. It gets really annoying, really quickly. The subwoofer also has an annoying low-grade thumping sound that you can hear when the volume is low. Other than that, the sound was actually really good for the price.

I can't say if this model will have those issues, but I've tried a couple different models, and they both had the same issues, so…
