I have seen several posts recently with HP configurations, some using special accounts and different codes. Some of these are outdated, marked expired, or overlooked due to the specific listings and no indication the deals are customizable.
So this post is to update these deals, pricing, list some of the more notable configurations, and make sure to indicate that there are more options you can configure to your liking.
Just follow the link, change the parts you want, add to cart, then apply the appropriate code. An EPP/EDU is not required and EPP oes not stack so if you log in with one you won't get these prices. Use code
winter5 or
holiday5 for $599-$999 and
winter10 or
holiday10 for $1000+.
EDIT: I was told EDU will still work and make the $1610 deal $1566. I can't verify but for those with EDU accounts also try stacking with 10gamer2021 code if the above dont work.
EDIT: 11/26 Not sure if EDU is still working with codes, but with the base price increase on the Pavilions, the EPP discount also increased resulting in better prices on the cheapest 2 options.
HP Pavilion [hp.com]
5300g
8gb RAM
256gb NVMe
GTX 1650 Super
$589 ($537 with EPP and no code)
5600g
8gb RAM
256gb NVMe
GTX 1660 Super
$750 ($707 with EPP and no code)
5600g
8gb RAM
256gb NVMe
RTX 3060
$917
5700g
8gb RAM
256gb NVMe
RTX 3060
$1071
HP Omen [hp.com]
5600x
8gb Hyper X RGB RAM
256gb WD Black NVMe
RTX 3060ti
$1260
EDIT: Alternate Omen 25L Option [hp.com]
5600x
8gb Hyper X RGB RAM
256gb WD Black NVMe
RTX 3060ti
$1188
(This one is $72 cheaper than the Omen 30L 5600x/3060ti. Looks like case is a little smaller and no front fan cutout. Up to you if potential airflow diff is worth price diff.)
5600x
8gb Hyper X RGB RAM
256gb WD Black NVMe
RTX 3070
$1395
5600x
8gb Hyper X RGB RAM
256gb WD Black NVMe
RTX 3080
$1610
5800x
8gb Hyper X RGB RAM
256gb WD Black NVMe
RTX 3080
$1773
(The 3080s require a +$40 chassis/power supply upgrade)
I put what I could in the title but there are also options on the Omen for 3080ti and 3090 starting at $2115 and $2285.
EDIT:You can try the 3090 but as if this edit, when you add a 3090 configuration to cart, it reverts back to bottom tier GPU for some reason.
EDIT: 3090 no longer shows as an option for me on the Omen configuration.

Corporateperk.com offers 10% points from Employee Purchase Program, however I can't get a working coupon code to stack with it. It is still cheaper overall. I am getting $1741 on 5600x and 3080, 10% points brings it to $1567 which is $50 cheaper than non-EPP.
I will pull the trigger if I can get one more coupon code to stack, also hoping for HP to offer a more loaded configuration on Black Friday for 5600x. A bit more memory and disk space, anything!
This is actually a repost of a deal I posted yesterday, but you wouldn't know at a glance because they completely screwed up the title when they made it front page. (It's the one with pavilion 5700g for $1026.)
My original title included a few pavilion and omen configurations, as the whole intent of it was to list several good configurations of both Pavilion and Omen with updated pricing. They made it look like a Pavilion-specific post, and highlighted one of the less popular configurations to boot. (I'm not bitter lol)
Also, I wasn't aware at the time, but others are reporting edu does work with 10gamer2021 code making this 3080 build $1566.

finally got mine. SSD1 is PCIE gen 4 and SSD2 is PCIE gen3.
Added a 140mm fan to the bottom and 120mm at the top. GPU 100% load temp is 72C.
Not sure what's my CPU's issue. Temprature is super high, 70C when idle and 88C when 100% load.
I chose the "defective" hardware option to see if I get charge a fee
Any updates? Thanks
this is such a pain. Submitted 2 online RMA requests. They wanted to me to contact tech support for defective hardware. obviously, I never did.
on chat now asking for RMA.
what a pain of a company.
just by chatting with customer service, they clearly are not based in the USA.
They rep even asked me to sell it to a "friend or family member"
lol, what a load of crap

Were you able to return it?
How did the dispute with AMEX go? I'm hoping I won't have to go through that but it sounds like I will.
