costco 300 gc needs line open for 90 days i think.

A) Cannot be unlocked by third party services
B) Must be activated on Straight Talk for one year to get unlock from the carrier
C) Can be "soft" unlocked using RSIM. Only unlocks the physical SIM slot, not the eSim. Soft unlock will last until/unless you reset the phone or take an update through iTunes. (No one in their right mind should be doing the latter at this point). RSIM will continue to work if you take an over-the-air update.

I have an rsim 13 and it worked fine until about 4 weeks ago.
I haven't tried lately.
Will try on a locked XR once I get home from work
