How did it stop working? Did it stop turning on? From what I've seen on the reddit forums, everyone says that the G15 construction is superior to other budget gaming laptops. Considering this has a 3050TI, it's hard to find another gaming laptop that can compete.

X050 is at the bottom at 75w ish. This is far less likely to throttle. A x080 is pure waste in laptops as they chug as much as a small heater. Do not go over a x070.

It's a no brainer to keep this one instead of the Asus TUF with the non ti 3050 since I got it for the cheaper after cash back offers.

For anyone wondering how, rakwhomustnotbenamed site is offering 15 percent cashback for orders with dell. Also, my bank had 5 percent cash back offer as well. Ended up cheaper than the Asus tuf once I get all of it back by about 40 bucks tax included. With that savings, I bought a crucial 8gb ram from amazon for 28.99. I think that is the best deal I will get for a budget laptop this bf. Happy deal hunting friends.

If you ever expect to use the warranty service then forget Dell. An absolutely horrendous experience of endless phone calls and sending the laptop in to get it "fixed" only to have it break again a few weeks later. Their customer sales team is American, so you get great service when you buy. But as soon as you need help (we bought the premium warranty package) you get out of country CS which sends you through circles of connecting to different departments and saying the same things over and over. They essentially sold us a lemon XPS 15 that I max spec'd out and they refused to replace it. They ended up replacing every single component in the computer (motherboard and all) before we gave up and got rid of it. We had only owned it for about 2 weeks before the problems started and sold it 6 months later for dirt cheap. There were 2 dead pixels on the 4K screen that appeared after month 5 but I was so shell shocked from the horrible CS and endless hours waiting on hold ("premium" customer service) that I didn't even bother to get it sent in again. It was at the Dell repair shop so much I think I used it 20-30 hours total. Of course YMMV but from what I've read from other customers, this is not uncommon. I went as far as getting BBB involved asking them to help us get the laptop replaced and Dell refused to help. Worst company ever. I will never buy any of their computers. But like I said, you may get a great laptop and have zero issues. I just know I would never take that risk knowing I may need support if something were to go wrong.

I got it to work eventually. I used it on your link for the $799 one, but that didn't work. Then, I tried it on the $784 one linked by the OP and it worked for that one.
