I've learned in 2021 that no laptop/notebook is good enough here on SD and I will be stuck with my 10 year old 8/640GB Dell that's bogged down into oblivion.

no. xps is the most premium of the dell lines, I believe. xps > latitude > vostro > inspiron (though inspiron is geared towards consumer and not business)

With the upgradable RAM I decided to buy it. Wish the screen was brighter but I'm guessing that's why they're able to get it so cheap.

With the AmEx $120 promo (got email saying it worked, as long as it meets the terms) and the 8% cb (also got email saying it took but apparently a business product could be voided, going off comments here), right about $500 total.

Seems like a helluva deal!

Oh, Purple Cashback seems valid as "dell technologies for business", which also offers 12%, the same to dell consumer.
