Dude, I have owned probably about 100+ controllers for every console you can think of and never once have I had a single issue with any controller. Never even had joystick drift on my Switch Joycons. People's controllers have issue because the people using them abusively or incorrectly.
Yeah? 100+ controllers and no issues, I'd be guessing you aren't really putting much hours on them then. Real gamers tend to use a single controller until it breaks or drifts and then purchase a new one.
N64 used a rubber band (essentially) in their joystick and that would go bad because rubber degrades whether or not you use it, though using it degrades it faster. Even then, you'd get a good couple years out of it before it became the controller that you gave to your guest or little sibling.
I've got drift on 2 360 controllers with 2-3k hrs use on each, which imo isn't bad. My newest series X controller is still going strong after a year (though firmware issues had to be resolved). So, in that regard, Xbox controllers have been fairly reliable.
Nintendo Switch joy cons had drift in less than a year, which is unacceptable and Nintendo did the right thing by offering free replacement/repair, because that IS a major issue. But the pro controllers are still going strong at 3+ years.
I've got a couple PS4 controllers but used them sparingly, can't speak upon those.
Anything before the introduction of joysticks is moot, as the issues those had would be from food or drink getting onto the contact pads and they were pretty damn basic. The issue that the majority of people have now are with drift (poor engineering or poor quality parts) and occasionally firmware (which is easily patched).
Hey OP, you don't have to defend the post a zillion times. It is what it is, post your deal and let the community dictate how it goes. I like the deal for the most part although I wasn't able to get the coupon codes to work. In any case, your constant responses defending the deal doesn't really further the discussion. How many times have you responded here to your own post?
BTW: No, you don't need to respond to answer my question. LOL

First run of the Elite series 2 had stick drift, regardless how you used it.
I just ordered for in store pick-up in 4 days, it said there were 4 left in stock when I added it. The coupon worked (added the gum). $42.50 with tax. Thanks!

My Elite 2 had drift and grinding in the left stick. Had to send in for repair. Now the right bumper requires doesn't activate unless pressed hard. Will be sending in for a second time in owning it for a bit over a year.
A Walmart by me showed 3 in stock, so I decided to buy one. None of the coupons worked, but I decided to buy anyway since it was $49 even without the coupons. About an hour or two later, I get an email saying my order was cancelled due to "system error". lol. Oh well.
One of these reappeared for pickup at a Walmart about 30 miles away. Created a new account to use the PayPal discount, fully expecting a cancelation (like my previous 3 attemps) but this one actually got a pickup ready email, and I just got it now! Awesome to find any of these special editions at under $40, especially good looking ones like this. This will take over from my ancient Lunar White limited edition.
So my second order that said "delayed, check back for updates" for almost 24 hours finally went through tonight and I was able to pick it up with no issues! I went inside the store out of curiosity and the locked shelves in the electronics department had at least 2 more controllers in stock even though their website says out of stock. This was the location off of SH161 in Grand Prairie, TX in case anyone is still looking for one. But the slick price may not be valid anymore as their website does not show the $49 deal price anymore. Cheers and good luck!

I don't really think it's luck, I have owned almost every console since NES, barring the N64, so, NES, SNES, Gamecube, Wii U, Switch, PSX, PS2, PS3, PS4, PS5, Xbox original, Xbox 360, Xbox One, S, X and Series X and multiples of a lot of these and never once have I had a controller not work. They all charge, they all move as intended. So no, I think it's just people abusing their toys. I don't even treat my stuff super carefully, I toss all my old systems and controllers in those giant plastic storage totes, then I take them out and use them every so often.
So call it luck, but my personal experience says differently.
This, ladies and gentlemen is a perfect example of "confirmation bias".

I ordered yesterday and opted for some brown sugar, because needed instead of gum. Got email this morning saying controller out of stock.
Started new order using a different Walmart and added $1 gum. That let me do in store pickup today instead of forcing curbside pickup tomorrow.
Total was $42.82. Picked it up an hour ago.
Edit: Had to use new email account too after out of stock cancelation. Couldn't reuse promo code.

I don't just mean you or this deal when I talk about it being easier to criticize.
EVERY time I post a deal I have to put up with crap from somebody.
First, they could have shared the deal themselves, but didn't.
I did.
So, for the terrible crime of sharing a deal I found out about, you attempt a piss-poor effort at public shaming for not doing it how you would?
I've put some effort into this.
HOWEVER, what does "credit" matter? To me or to Jokercard?
I've been here for years and credit and rep has never gotten me jack squat.

Do you mean the aqua shift one? how much was that?
That's because you don't game
Why are you buying 100 controllers for every console if they are not breaking 🤔
