I searched but didn't see this deal posted. Free shipping included (for members). Just placed my order and plan to return the 2TB Seagate portable I bought last weekend for $55.

One should have a backup to their backup if they plan on using a portable/external USB drive like these as their single backup medium.

The 8TB backup hubs are just too big. And the even smaller SanDisk Extreme SSD (also on sale at Costco) isn't cheap enough or big enough (4TB max) to replace.
They're probably OK for media serving and removable project/library files. Can't speak to use for game storage, PC or XBOX.

I would pick Seagate just because it's sold by Costco.
need? Nope Lol Any will work to store videos. Though 1080p, 2K & especially 4K video are LARGE files. I would prob just get a large HDD as u get the most for ur buck. this would work fine as an external backup & a pretty good price per Tb.
EDIT: Used Firefox instead of Chrome and it works now
