FWIW I got a short-lived deal mirroring this about 6 months ago, and this router is incredibly solid.

The network management features are pretty standard for enthusiast routers although light by business standards with channel management, and the ability to set the third radio as a separate SSID if you aren't using the wireless backhaul (multiple mesh).

The touchscreen interface, speakers, and visual are a very specific style but if you like it, you love it.

And the stability is significant. I have a heavily active smarthome and upgraded from Nest Wifi to this and my issues just disappeared.

TDLR; This is a gorgeous Wifi Router that can grow to a mesh setup with fun metrics and touchscreen interface, and is the top of the pile until Wifi 6E becomes realistic. Hope this helps someone!

Anyone had to deal with their customer service? I've read some not so great things if you actually need to send this in for warranty repair.

are these rebranded D-Link routers? this looks suspiciously like the D-Link DIR-868L with a screen added

Hmmm I'm on the fence, I have a ASUS GT-AX11000 that can't keep a 2.4 ghz signal. Wonder if this would be a good replacement.

Seems kinda pricey for a single node. Would be interested to see how this stacks up against Orbis, Eeros and Velops

I'm waiting on the udr. Tri band isn't that useful if you have a wired backhaul. Most devices seem to be 2 stream devices so the benefit of 4 stream also seems a little pointless

Any recommendations for what modem to pair this with? I just have the stock Spectrum devices right now.

Pros:
Great processor
VPN
App setup

Cons:
No 2.5 Gbit Lan/wan ports.
Standard 3,000 sqft. coverage. (Costly mesh add-on for 6,000 sqft)
WiFi 6 not 6E.
Clients limited to 120 for non mesh setup
