Also just to add on this topic, the 16gb version will come with "slow" ram but not the one that youtuber review, it's better than the slow ram few months ago, well tbh with you this one run game like a beast so you do not need to change the ram unleash you really need it, it run around 90-110fps RDR2 almost ultra setting at 1080 and around 60-80fps on 2k, also idk if this is region because peoples in USA Vram will be from Samsung but other region will have different brand.

This Alienware is $100 less than your budget and should fit the bill. I had the Dell G15 version of this which is exactly the same internals with a plastic chassis and nerfed Alienware Command Center. At 1200 for a better chassis, and non-nerfed control software, it's a pretty good deal. The Alienware will run hot but performance should be excellent if the fans are going. A few other things: keyboard is 4 zone RGB, screen is the better, brighter, 165Hz version, the 3 USB Type A ports are all the slower 5Mbps and the Type C is 10Mbps but does not do Power Delivery, and the ethernet is 2.5Gbps.

The Ge76 3060 laptop has a high TGP and might outperform the 3060 version of the 5i or 7i, but it lags behind in screen quality and is much larger. It weighs 6.6 lbs or nearly 3kg. The build quality and keyboard are also much worse. They keys had little travel and almost no feedback. Some of the display units at Costco even had damaged keys. The trackpad, though smaller, has a better feel.
The 3070 version of the Ge76, which is available at Costco.com, has a better 360 Hz screen but it still isn't even close to the quality of the 5i or 7i screen. It will likely outperform the 3070 version of the either Legion laptop.
If your going to run it as a desktop replacement with an external monitor and keyboard, none of the above will probably matter.
