But the $70/month for basic unlimited plan is the deal breaker. I pay $25/month for unlimited with Visible on Verizon's network. So I'd be paying $45 more a month for 30 months for phone service. That's $1350 more, which negates the phone discount by quite a bit.
Might be a good deal for someone who already stomach's the painful cost of the Verizon plan. Not for me.

Savings on each phone - minus the value of your trade in over 2 year. Does that saving really matter when you're paying ~$80 a month more in service costs over two years?
Remember I'm asking inquisitively. Not attacking you and saying you're wrong, I'm seeking knowledge and input of the mathematical legistics
And please don't forget Verizon's beautiful hidden trick of saying yeah $35 a line for voice and text. Then tacking on data per line.
And your employee discount (if you look in the fine print or your bill) the discount is only applied to the voice/text OR data charge not both. So 18% discount is only applied to 60% of the charges. Which leads to about a 10% discount overall.

In the first time since owning smartphones in 13 years, I couldn't deal with a "quirk". Pixel 6 is the fingerprint scanner. Based on reviews i thought it was somethign I could just overlook, but even w/ the recent update the phone is so annoying to use I couldn't deal with it.
I'd say at LEAST 1 out of 3 time (somewhere between 33-50%), the scanner doesn't work. I have to rescan, or reposition my finger. The times it DOES work, it's STILL annoying as it takes a relatively "long" time to unlock. Now mind you, we're talking fractions of a second longer, but considering the single most frequent thing ANYONE does w/ their phone is unlock it, in aggregate this becomes quite a frustrating daily experience.
The nail in the coffin was that wife and I just bought a new car with wireless Android Auto, and it does not work. You have to initiate w/ a cabled connection, then unconnect, and then it still bugs out 100% of the time.
I figured with all these daliy issues, this is one of those times I switch over to iphone temporarily.
It is really that bad. I've never wanted to throw a phone through a wall more than this one.

As far as Hulu Disney and those other added perks are null and void to me as I only use Netflix and 100% free tv apps.
$30 seems decent and $59 for a 599 phone is slick. But after all the taxes and fees and useless to me addons I then also take into consideration the fact that I MUST be married for two years to this phone. Pass for me. Thanks and good night.
I'm speaking to all - can someone tell me how a person who is on slickdeals and sees all the visible, mint mobile, red pocket, metro, cricket etc still signs a contract like this deal right here on Verizons best most reliable most expensive most taxed plan ? What am I missing here? Is my calculator different than any of yours? Why am I buying a pixel 6 for 550 at best buy and matching it to the mint mobile buy 3 get 3 plan? Why should I do this deal instead?

That is $36 per line per month with $900 phones to use for the whole time.
Insurance is $50 / month for all the lines total, it pays for itself and is cheaper then any other service for us. We are klutzes.
Upgrade to pixel 8s and do it all again. Of note, no real upfront costs. Just 6 broken phones that I had laying around. Or buy em off of ebay for $500 total.
I just received shipping confirmation last night on the Pixel 5a from the $399 unlocked deal earlier in the week, which comes to about $16 per month I think. Seeing this deal now, I just went to see what I could get for my monthly payment when trading in my Pixel 3 and it shows $15 per month, $1 less per month than my 5a.
With that said, there seems to be quite a few complaints about the Pixel 6 bugs, which I'm sure is typical of a brand new phones and will probably be fixed shortly, as well as the lack of a fingerprint reader like previous Pixel phones.

If not the Best Buy at $550 and mint mobile (choose your data needed for each member) I'm certain a family of five all don't use or need unlimited.
And don't get me started on your comment about "the most reliable network" AT SUCH A HIGHER COST.
That's a totally different can of worms. Do you really NEED your connection to be 99% efficient and pay more for Verizon when mint uses tmobile 85% efficientcy connection? Is that 99% efficiency worth the extra cost per line over 85% efficientcy? But the masses say you do. But do you? Think not my fellow deal seeker.

Also I peeked at the iPhone 13 $800 off and one person said he was told $800 credit for his iPhone 7. So he sent it in and they gave $130 for it.

Also researched reviews of these pixel 6 series- a lot of unhappy customers.
And yeah budget carriers use roaming at no charge.

You saved 640 but paid 468 more than me. That's only $172 saved on the phone (again not including your taxes and fees because it's not 27 truly - correct?
And don't forget I'm buying the same phone at 550 so top notch flagship phones are equal. (Which these pixels are getting really bad reviews )
