This seems to have high ratings. However, I wrote a negative review about it on Amazon and then was banned from posting comments because of this product. Simply put it is nothing more than just adding a sharpening effect. Your expectations have to be quite low when you get this device.

You clearly don't know what "sharpening" is if you think this is all it does. I own two of them. Try using one with a computer and you will see not only how wrong you are, but how ignorant you are for trying to blame yourself being banned on others and not your own ignorance. This device does exactly what it says it does.
I've done many tests being a PC gamer with high framerate monitors (240Hz), which this device won't hit 1080p240Hz due to a slight saving of money for manufacturing costs and likely an improved version in the future, but it can do 720p240Hz upscaled to 1080p. The problem is, windows gets all weird about this stuff with the desktop interface. Cuz you have to choose 720p240 for the desktop, and then the mClassic sends 1080p 240 to the monitor. But just cuz it sends 1080p, doesn't mean thats what text and icons look like. Remember, Windows thinks it is 720p and it is scaling those things as such.
Basically, it is extremely good for consoles and computers when gaming at 120Hz or below, and 1440p and below. Nintendo switch looks amazing with it, anyone would be surprised how well it gets rid of jaggies (lol, as though added sharpening removes jaggies, that is funny). A good thing for FPS gamers, you can set your desktop to 1080p120Hz, what you will see is 1440p120Hz. You see these streamers trying 1440p, liking it but dislike the lower FPS in warzone? You will get that 1440p quality, while also hitting high FPS.

People will most likely regret this purchase. I'm entire to my opinion and yeah it does not meet my expectations. I have tried it with multiple sources and it's absolutely not worth it. So it seems you are assuming too much about what others have or have not done.
I encourage others to try it but most of you will come to conclusion that this device is simply not worth it.
I currently own 3, with one connected to my PS3, Xbox One X, and Switch. I definitely feel it's worth the money for 720p and below content. For the Xbox One X it comes in handy for back-compat titles. And since many PS3 and Switch titles are 720p, the MClassic generates a noticeably better image.

"People will regret it but I encourage them to try it". It does exactly what it says it does. The only reason someone would regret it, is if they are as dumb as you and expect more from a product than what is advertised. It's not rocket science, if it's 1440p and below, it gets upscaled. The end. Lol 🤦 ♂️
