I rather get it from Costco for a bit more. Costco Is easier to deal with for any issues or returns.

Connection is legit but they are more of a business to business company with old school order processing. One time I had to call them to get my order procssed.

If you're on macOS Monterey, you are probably experiencing the memory leak bug, however, the OS will consume any empty memory as it sees fit, and reduce consumption as you open more and more tabs in Chrome. I have a 8gb base model MBA, and a Chrome tab whore, and have never seen the 8gb more than medium compression in Activity Monitor. I have almost as many tabs open as I do on my iMac with 32gb of memory and MBA is still far faster (probably due to all SSD).

Plus, if you look up the 16 vs 32gb memory comparison videos on YouTube of the new MBPs, there's literally no difference unless you're trying to do everything else anddd edit an 8k video file.

8 GB might be OK for now. But if you plan to keep this machine for few years, not sure if the softwares needs more juice in the future.

So in order to future proof, 16 GB would be nice. But finding a slick deal is rare.

At the end, it depends on what you do with this machine.

I agree. I had the 8gb and it was fine for most tasks. But occasionally it was taxed, multiple tabs, etc. 16gb ram future proofs the machine much more.

That said for light browsing or a family computer, this is more than enough.

I have to say MacMini M1 w/ MacOS is the buggiest apple product I ever had. Not impressed. When bigsur first came out, we got hit by the unclosable screensaver bug. Then whenever we switch account, the old login completely crashes and lose every working task. Now our Logitech devices struggle to work. Many apps show "unexpectedly closed" every time system is rebooted. Some start-up scripts randomly hit-or-miss. We regretted getting this.

This is very intriguing... I bought the 16gb model M1 Mac Mini shortly after it released and got an estimate from Apple the other day for trade in value. They're offering me $800 for mine, wonder how much they would offer for this one and if you could actually gain money?

Grab a 49.95 Mxmaster3 mouse while you're gettin.. I find it hard to believe their site inventory is real time.. anyone buy one and watch availability actually tick down? Says 22 units available for the entire time I've been looking at it...(and mx at 91)
