If Walmart has low tier parts for their Acer units, does Costco use higher tier parts in their LG monitor versions?

For people stil on gen 8, you won't be able to take full advantage of the display due to HDMI 1.4. PS4 pro will max out at 1080p, resulting in a blurry image even with super sampling mode enabled. Xbox One X can use the 1440p option, though Variable Refresh Rate will be disabled on HDMI 1.4 connections — meaning some games will have otherwise avoidable screen tearing issues.

Terrible refresh rate. I wouldn't buy this for anything other than basic browsing.

lol what a dumb comment. 75hz is fine for 99% of people. Good lucking getting a graphics card that can run new games at 1440p faster than 75 fps anyways. LMAOLMAOLMAO

Fam consoles run 120 fps now. And I wouldn't even invest in any monitor for pc gaming that isn't 144hz. Minimum is 120hz

I concure, I also bought one and it is indeed 2x HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort plus the stand can tilt a few degrees up and downwards. Walmart has it at a lower cost too. Its all I need. 🙂

Oh it (Walmart version) also has 2 speakers (a surprise to me) mounted downwards. Its not much but its there along with a headphone jack in the back also.

If you're buying it to game and need it for multimedia, it'll definitely do just fine. I use it as such for a little of everything from PS4 gaming, pc gaming and normal computer usage like browsing and work. The quality is great in my opinion, you can't ask for the world at $159. Its for the budget minded user like me. The picture clarity and colors are excellent.

The build and stand are very good. I was surprised it had speakers. They're very small but they're there. Thats a bonus because many monitors nowadays don't have it, opting for a sleeker thinner design which is nice but less durable and easier to break in my opinion. Overall I highly recommend this monitor at $159 (Walmart version) or even here at $179. You'll be hard pressed to find a better monitor for that money.
