Huion support is horrible. They gaslight you saying it's cable issues or user error... I've had issues with my kamvas 13 for almost a year now...
I've listed my issues over various SD threads at length and am not disposed to give the whole down-low now, but this link to Huion's own support forums says it all:

Edit: great, I've fallen down the rabbit hole of researching the various Huion tablets. Too bad they don't have an etched glass version between the 2019 Kamvas 16 Pro and the new Kamvas 16 Pro 4K (well, they have the RDS-160, but it doesn't appear to be for sale).

Tl;dr: stay away from Huion anything until they get their software and drivers under proper order befitting a product for PROFESSIONALS

A quick google search will show you that its a very common problem with a lot of devices, but the problem is usually never the device, but the mobo/usb header/chipset drivers....

I used a Huion for a month for a project and had no issues at the time I was on windows Vista and if it worked on that it will work on anything.
The new HUION Inspiroy Ink H320M is a very cool and inexpensive tablet which looks like the best of both worlds for people who just want to simple sketch but not want a full screen display.

The measure of character is how one deals with moments of crisis. Huion was advocating for CROWD-SOURCED solutions to some of these problems, such as disabling and enabling aspects of the drivers in the device manager. They also asked some people to pay for return shipping of the 3-in-1 cable when it was clearly not due to "abuse." Some people suggested that Steam is the issue. Others stated that it was the kind of power brick used with the 3-in-1 cable. A-B testing with two of everything is not realistic nor acceptable with people who use products in production environments.
They also ask you to take video of the symptom and then upload to your own google drive and then share the video with them. Not exactly a paragon of professionalism. How does one record disconnecting and reconnecting a cable while holding a camera simultaneously?
The main thread at the Huion forums for this particular tablet has been going on for over a year with no real solution in sight. Tested on bone-stock machines of all makes and models including a surface pro 4, a custom Haswell rig, and my new Legion 5 Pro. Also tested on a Thinkpad T480, P15 (my work machine), and a macbook pro 13 inch. Absolutely not a boiler plate chipset issue.

Whether it is with this particular model or with the particularly vintage of the current drivers, I cant recommend Huion as a solutions provider for people more serious about their work than saving a few bucks. For myself...no time or money to be the guinea pig for any more of these slipshod solutions. Currently using an ancient Wacom intuos P&T from 2015 and a pen on my Thinkpad P15.
Kids have been asking for drawing tablet for a while, I was going to get Galaxy Tab S6 Lite for 230 but there were some negative reviews.

Where screen vs non-screen does make a difference is in personal work style. A screen tablet obviously allows the user to look directly at what they're drawing, akin to working on paper; but some users may not like being hunched over the screen tablet during a long drawing session, or may have trouble with their hand blocking their view of what they're drawing. A non-screen tablet allows the user to sit straight and look at a monitor in front of them while their hand works flat or mostly flat on the table; for some users this is more ergonomic, but others may have trouble with the disconnect between what their hand is doing and what their eye is seeing.
Another advantage of a screen tablet is that it can be used as a secondary monitor even while not being used to draw with. Of course, this particular Huion is pretty small and has pretty big bezels for a secondary monitor, so I wouldn't buy it primarily for that purpose.
