Specs
Intel Core i3-10105 Processor (4-Core, 6M Cache, 3.7GHz to 4.4GHz)
Good price for a complete desktop that will do 90% of what 90% of people use their computers for. Especially with cashback
Other popular cashback site R_ku10 has 15% cash back at Dell today.
There are also YMMV deals on 5% back on Chase cards and some Amex offers too. My Amex offer is for $600 minimum so that won't work ehre unless you need 2x systems
With cashback and chase 5% you might get this down to $264 net.
I'd strongly recommend adding a NVMe stick for primary boot drive and reinstalling the OS. That mechanical HDD is a system bottleneck. SSd/NVMe are multiples faster than HDDs for loads and storage use.

Proprietary power supply is going to ruin dell's buisness. They don't learn history lessons; what a penny wise. Get a laptop and ditch this waste of space box.
This isn't a bad computer for the money but TBH if you have any computer that is Sandy Bridge (2012!) or newer you aren't getting any more performance out of this Dell desktop. In fact, if your old Sandy Bridge desktop has an SSD your experience will actually get slower.
Get this if you don't have a desktop at all, otherwise skip because it will not likely be an upgrade.
Online and word processing? My brother, the i3 10105 is endgame Skylake 4 core 8 thread juiced up to the gills with power to justify generational increases. It matches the i7 7700. It'll do most tasks that can be brute forced with CPU power just fine falling short only in GPU bound tasks.
Looks like a good box to be sterilized of MW-11 and use as a home Ubuntu server. Microsoft has gone to crap. The power supply is a concern, though. Dell is no Apple. They can't get away with proprietary sh*t. HP tried it with disk drive interfaces. Nope. HP is trash now. The only reasonable use for this IMHO, is a home Ubunto sandbox.

Yeah I don't know why folks think this is a Celeron or something. This i3 is quite powerful. I'm using it in my hold-me-over-til-alderlake machine, with a 6700 XT and 16gb of RAM I'm getting solid 75+ fps on Forza Horizon 5 on extreme settings at 2k. Yeah, I know the GPU is doing the heavy lifting there but this CPU rips at 65w and chilling at 29C on the stock cooler.

It's on par with a Ryzen 5 3600X and folks act like being an i3 means it might run Minesweeper
