I think so. Last few years they were $7 at Lowe's for BF/CM. They like to leak though. I have had quite a few of them leak, especially in devices that don't need fresh batteries often and don't get used much. I still have a pile of them and won't use them in anything expensive unless I know I will replace the batteries often. I even had one leak in the box.

The 60 count is still available at HD for $7.88 according to brickseek.

.
Yep, Rayovac's start leaking in the packages before the expiration dates. I have three boxes of 48 each on my desk that need sorted. After ruining more than one item, I think the free ones that Harbor Freight used to give out are better.

I think it is past time that I invest in rechargeable lithium as soon as I figure out a decent charger and the best batteries to buy.

Picked up two 36 packs of AA & 2 of AAA this past weekend. Should be good for the next year on batteries. I've been getting these on BF weekend at Lowes for years and they've been good. Never had any leak in the package, but there have been some that have leaked inside remote controls that's true. Overall for the price each year these have been great for our family.

yeah me too..

If you do buy this people, DO NOT leave these in anything you care about for more than a couple of months...

I would recommend not using them at all in anything you really care about.

My local Home Depot store still had the 60 packs in stock a couple of days ago. Here are brickseek links to check your local Home Depot inventory.

Like many said, all mine batteries started leaking new in package and in the remotes around the house (not expire). And batteries kept in a cool dark drawer in basement.

was going to get some, but this thing is going to do more harm and the warranty is a total garbage.

one of the many reviewers on lowes site: "I purchased (2) 36 packs of Rayovac AAA batteries at $16.97 each, and both packs have batteries that are leaking! I contacted Rayovac Customer Service and they offered me a $15.00 coupon so I could buy replacement batteries. I paid $16.97 per pack plus sales tax so the $15.00 will not even cover the cost of the batteries. It takes Rayovac customer service 3 days to respond to emails which means they have a big problem with their batteries! I'd highly recommend buying a different brand! The bottom of the package clearly states Money Back Guarantee which obviously doesn't mean anything!"

If you have a Menards near you, they have 30 packs on sale for $7 with a $3 rebate ($3.98 after rebate)
