Presumably the only reason the LG is on this list is because they've abandoned the Android market. Otherwise, it does not belong in the category of free phone and will surely go out of stock VERY quickly after this deal goes live. The other freebie Samsung phones are somewhere between cruel jokes and OK as a dummy device to run your remote control app.

In the same boat except I didn't pay it off (yet.) There's mixed reports, including some on this thread. Official language says one per line, but others report multiple EIP discounts stacking on one line without a payoff i.e transfer to acct. credit. Some on reddit say this changed in the past year or so.

If you really want a 'free' phone you may as well switch to Metro by T-Mobile and get one there. Of course you'll need non-tmobile # to get port price. At the very least you can leave whenever you want without needing to pay ETF, because that's exactly what this entails an ETF if you leave TMobile.
