Seriously, what did you expect, it was a one day sale and it sold out. It happens. I have missed out on countless deals here by being late to the game. Not a big deal. Get over yourselves and move onto the next deal instead of acting immature by complaining or being butt hurt because they won't bend over backwards for you.
Which is the best of the free phones?
Not only will they be locked to T-Mobile, but don't be surprised by the fact that budget phones like these slice and dice which bands they support based upon the operator which sold them. In other words, this is not the same phone as similarly named model from Verizon, and would have different capacity to support functionality on networks outside of T-Mobile (they're all probably 100% fine enough for AT&T).

Presumably the only reason the LG is on this list is because they've abandoned the Android market. Otherwise, it does not belong in the category of free phone and will surely go out of stock VERY quickly after this deal goes live. The other freebie Samsung phones are somewhere between cruel jokes and OK as a dummy device to run your remote control app.

Good luck!

You get 5 free unlocks per yr from T-Mobile. That's what I have been doing with all of my T-Mobile phones.
What exactly are "free unlocks?"

T-Mobile recently unlocked six iPhone 13's and two Samsung phones, and I was not charged anything. All phones were paid in full but only the Samsungs were beyond 40 days of service.

Just got the LG phone today. After playing it for a few minutes I am glad that LG quit mobile business. LG software is pure trash. only good thing about the phone is that it's free.
Return it if you don't like it. Why have 24 months of EIP and bill credits on your account if you're unhappy, plus paying tax on an item you don't like. At the very least, you can eventually flip it. Most of us here seem to think these are pretty nice phones for the promo, so someone will likely snatch it up.

The one I received is same, they are sending the refurbished/traded in phones for free as part of this deal.
Do you know this for a fact, and if so, what's your source? If they are refurbs, they are the best that I have seen, because all 5 of mine are immaculate.

Be careful about posting info as fact if you are just guessing. I see a trend on this site of many SDers now posting opinion or what they believe to be true as actual fact, when in reality it is complete BS.

So if that is the case here, please amend your comment that this is just your opinion that these are refurbs, unless of course you have actual proof.

Just trying to prevent unnecessary drama here as well as confusion for others who actually believe half the BS that is posted on this site

I traded the last LG velvet I received for 50% for a S21, hopefully they would have similar trade-in deal when S22 comes out.
I noticed the same on mine as far as the double stickers..but nothing else would lead me to believe this is a refurb phone. I doubt they are doing that, first off most people don't send the box in with their phone trade in, and it would probably get them sued since these are advertised as new phones.

Go to your network unlock setting and ask for temporary unlock so you can use it anywhere. You can use it 5 times a year. I cycle 3 phones back and forth using it on visible.

It's not top tier phone but mid tier with mid tier chip design to compete with Samsung A71 5G I got on Tmob deal a year ago for $200 with trading in iPhone 6.

And it comes pre-loaded with a lot of junk apps that one should be able to remove or disable.

Tmob 5G was screaming fast on my A71 5G in Seattle but no 5G service yet in my hood in NV.

He must be an iphone user. This is android software. I don't see anything wrong with this.
No Lou I use both ios and Android. LGs UI is horrible, cartoonish and sluggish. I immediately changed the launcher to make the phone useable. Hardware wise it's fine for what it is but UI is a different story.

Yes, since it's credit so you don't wanna pay it off when it's free.

If you can handle iOS you can handle log ui. iOS is horrible and cartoonish.

I have 8 lines with TMobile and this was an upgrade on one of the lines so 400 in credits over 24months ain't bad. I paid 30 including shipping so I will keep the phone to use the headphone jack which is a nice surprise. Although this doesn't have the quad dac like V series the 3D sound setting is pretty good.

I have an iPhone 13 pro max and typing from it now. Trust me, the ui is horrible. I can't wait to trade it in for the new s22 ultra. I have the pro max because bestbuy gave me a deal I can't resist.lol
