Did you buy the A8H or A80J (A80CJ at Costco)? This deal is for the A8H which is a 2020 model whereas Costco has the A80J on sale for $1800 right now. If it was the A8H I don't think they would price match but the extra warranties are probably worth the difference.
Now that you mention the difference, I believe I have the newer A80CJ… so it's "better".

LG has better customer service than Sony, right? This is rather tempting since I was eyeing the C1 at Costco but have read Sony support is nonexistent in case something goes awry while LG is lax with replacing panels.
LG has terrible customer service. I destroyed them on trust pilot. Been converting all appliances and electronics to Samsung.
I don't know about Sony.

IMO for streaming it doesn't make dollar sense to pay the premium for oled.
I would suggest looking at the much less expensive non oled displays.
I do 99% streaming and some gaming and I will say I will never buy a non OLED TV again. Every time I turn it on I'm still wowed by it. The blacks and contrast are just incredible compared to any LED I've had before.

I own both. You could not be more wrong. OLED is better for EVERYTHING.

I totally agree with that - LG worst customer support

I bought one of those last week but am tempted to cancel for the Sony. My parents have this Sony and it's spectacular.

LOL, you have NO IDEA what you got yourself into.

Personal experience, 2 out 4 large Samsung appliances failed shortly after 1 year warranty, while my parents still using the same Whirlpool washer/dryer from 90's.

Can someone explain to me, I'm ignorant and googled but not clear, aside from 2.1 offering 120fps, what's the benefit? This is a 120hz panel so 60fps if I split the refresh rate??
