As others have said, awesome bike and a steal at this price. Get a cheap tablet and the Qdomyos app (iOS and Android) for riding with Peloton (or Zwift, apparently). You have to sideload Google Play to install Qdomyos on a Fire tablet but that is the setup I use and it's awesome!

Edit: Looks like it is available on the Amazon app store as well now...well worth the $5!

I'm wondering what I can do to make exercise suck just a little less. Anyone using something like this with a VR headset? A quick google shows me there are a few options, wondering if any of them work with the bluetooth in this bike for syncing, or if I would need to buy some sort of sensor.

This is one of those deals where you order first and then think if you want it or not.
lol.. its a very good deal but no, you dont want to deal with having to lug/ship this back because of your indecision. so decide now, do you need another heavy-duty coat hanger?

Will this be good in terms of height for a 6 ft 1 inch person?

This is brilliant idea. I have the bike and just got a quest 2. There is a sub Reddit for spin bikes and I bet info would be in there. Or maybe it was an echelon sub Reddit. Added to my todo list.

Got this for $500 last year. Using the peloton app with it and it's still going strong!

We got the Prime version of this bike last year (essentially the same thing) and we love it. My fitness instructor wife uses it almost daily with Peloton on her phone (in the handlebar cradle) or on TV and a secondary phone to track cadence, etc. Stinks that it requires 2 phones BUT the bike won't really get outdated with old tech this way and should last a long time. It's holding up really well with regular usage. We got a mat to go under and that is recommended for easy sweat cleanup and floor protection. Buy with confidence...great deal on a great sturdy bike!

For someone who don't care about using any app, is this still a good deal?
The echelon app is the only way to lnow exactly what resitancr you're bike is set to... but maybe not an issue if youre not following along with classes. This is a great bike for the price.

Has anyone tried using the free app with data sync from the bike? Reviews indicate it either does not work or is pretty bad?

Just checked Amazon reviews ouch.
app works fine, never had an issue connecting

Good bike!
My complaint is that you can't move the seat forward or backward. My wife who is 5'3" says the seat is too far from the handlebars for her to be completely comfortable.

Nice, but why not just pick up a used Schwinn Airdyne? They've been basically the same since forever. (It's essentially a wind-powered bike that allows you the option to use your arms as well). You can get them dirt cheap used--easily under $200. Or you can spend $700-800 on a fancy Rogue.

That, plus 20m of fasted, steady state cardio every morning after your coffee, and see the kind of results you are truly capable of.

I have had this bike for about 9 months. I use it 3-4x per week, and use the Peloton app for classes.

The bike has held up well, with the only issue being squeaking every once in a while, which I'm able to resolve with WD40.

Note, this bike requires a phone app to see resistance and output metrics. I rest my phone on the bike, and use mr TV or iPad with the Peloton app to ride along to the instructors.

Another thing to note is the resistance numbers are different than that of Peloton. I found a conversion chart online and use that so I know what my resistance should be.

Overall, I love this bike and it's a great deal (I bought it for $499)

I think I own this exact bike (mine has bluetooth connectivity, so not entirely sure) -- but its a great bike! I bought mine 1.5 years ago from Target, and very happy with it, overall. Would recommend it.
