Yeah it does though the lack of a two tone dial makes this look a lot more busy imho.
I certainly never use any of those functions on mine (for starters, I'd need middle aged or younger eyes to read those registers without reading glasses). But my point is, this is a fascinating timepiece with real horological providence; a modern reinterpretation of the venerable Seiko pilot's watches of the '70's. It looks busy because it needs to be.
If you're into the tool watch aesthetic, this is a very appealing watch. For what it's worth, I too wish it had a sapphire crystal, but Seiko's Hardlex gets something of a bum rap. It's pretty gosh darn scratch resistant and honestly if you're hard on your watches, the aluminum bezel is going to show wear before the crystal does. Non-enthusiasts may not realize this, but the SNA411 Flightmaster is one of Seiko's most desirable watches. And this is a pretty good price these days.

Yes, it is Hardex and I found scratches on it even I was careful.
Seiko marketing said Hardex is developed for their diving watch because it is crack resistance when diving deep.
Funnily enought they do ! Google it..
