buying from cricut is BIG HARASSMENT. I placed 3 orders and wanted to cancel 2.
Today is the 4rth day and after talking to 4 people and one supervisor, they were so far unable to cancel the orders. I dont know if that is deliberate.
I got email that the order was shipped.
AVOID CRICUT WEBSIDE. Buy from other places like Amazon etc.

Beware Cricut. They have a complex history of taking advantage of customers.

I think the everything bundle is sold out in all the colors. Only the champagne says in stock but won't let me check out in cart. The essentials bundle is still available though

What a joke. I called them on the phone and cancelled my orders within 5-10 minutes of creating them. They agree to cancel but still their process ships the items. Ridiculous stress. Unwanted stress for the last 4 days. Not worth it.

I got it down to $208.
tried to share a pic of the screenshot however SD doesn't allow google photo links.

The only code I entered was "Roosabella 20% off" and I just ordered it so I'm not sure why I got Black Friday / Cyber Monday pricing. 20% Off plus 10% Access discount

From the reviews I've read (business practices aside- as cricut realized it would tank with a subscription requirement) the silhouette is only comparable to the maker as a vinyl cutter... and if that's all you want, get an air explorer 2 for much less money. The maker takes the cake with the different media it can handle.
From everything I read, the Cameo 4 does everything just as well as the Maker handles, except embossing (the Cameo is unable to do this)
.
The Cameo 4 actually has a stronger force on its blade/pen which "should" allow it to cut into thicker fabric.

Also the software from the Maker is cloud based and you HAVE to go through the company software/cloud to make it work... Hence the whole fiasco that happened months ago as the company can limit/change what you can do

The Cameo is a straight connection, so you "own" the system. I believe it also allows you to use 3rd party software

The Maker software is easier/more streamlined, while the Cameo is more complicated to learn, however has far more customizations you can accomplish once you learn them

Also the Cameo 4 allows you to go matless and create far wider projects. It looks like the Maker 3 is Cricut's answer to this

I'm still on the fence between the Maker and Cameo

I jumped on the Costco BF deal as Costco has a generous return policy while I decide (and see if Silhouette comes out with any sales.)

It looks like buying this deal directly through Cricut only gives you a 14 day return policy.

Had a long chat with Cricut support. I placed an order couple of days ago and they were unable to price match with this coupon, unable to cancel the order, unable to provide a $48.52 difference as store credit, unable to provide free return shipping. I have to pay my own shipping to return this order if I placed an order for the new one with a 20% off coupon. That is by far the lousiest customer service on the planet.

Something I didn't realize until I wanted to make a change:

"Cancellations must be done via phone within 4 business hours of placing order. Emailed cancellation requests will not be accepted. All sales are final for Cricut Access, Mystery Boxes & digital images." You'll also be on the hook for shipping it back. Keep this in mind.

Ha - I didn't see your post before posting my rant. Yup - I wanted to give the benefit of doubt at this Company since I came in post-failed upcharge on their services model. Figured I'd give their products a try. My items have been sitting for a couple of days with no movement, no tracking, nothing so I figured a modification or cancellation shouldn't be a big deal. Guess not.

I guess I should have been clearer, as the cameo 3 and original maker are the models I was considering.
