I have the 1/2" stubby but it won't zip off lug nuts - I think due to the tiny 1.5ah battery. Will keep refreshing and hoping this comes back.

I've seen YouTube tests where it goes up to 500ft-lb breakaway torque, using the 6Ah battery I think. I'm guessing that in real world use 400 is more realistic, but that's still way way way more than lug nuts on passenger vehicles and even smaller trucks. Either whoever fastened your lug nuts used an impact wrench to do so which is a no-no, or it's the 1.5Ah battery. There's actually a separate deal for a 3 & 6Ah battery, charger and case for $89 that might work for you instead of another tool.
