The clips broke on mine after dropping them several times. I made a 3D model and printed replacement clips on my 3D printer. Send me a PM if you want the files.

if you order 1 pack = 1 pair = 4 legs + crossbar --> means you need 2 packs to use together so you could place a plywood sheet across the two units? or how would you use it then?

This time of the year, great bases for train boards. And the compact size doesn't add much to holiday storage if that's all they're used for.
I have two sets of these. They are coated metal. I wipe them down when I marry the two of them to put them away and have not had any rust problems. I store them ion an in heated garage
