I got lifetime sub back in 2009. I just stream from the app. Do radios on eBay with lifetime sub give you the online account creds to use the app?

The $60 a year is no more and this $99 for 3 years is only for old accounts
Sirius rehashes the playlist too. The best part of the app for me is the pandora stations.

Really hate how deals are only ever for people who are not customers. Despite my insistence, my wife has continued to be a customer for about 10 years, now. The only deal we ever see is 1 year for about $99, which comes out to be about $120 after fees and taxes.
I've paid $5/mo for the last few years. Have to call once a year, before the autorenew. With fees it comes to about 70, but I have it in my car plus streaming.

I had this offer on an old truck that I rarely drive anymore. I currently have a 2019 whose subscription ran out. I activated the three-year deal on the truck, then paid a one-time $15 transfer fee to transfer that service to my 2019.
Does transferring from one vehicle to another involve calling or can it be done online?

If calling only, how long did it take?

Unfortunately, this used the be the case for me as well. But I got fed up of overpaying and finally canceled my subscription after nearly 5 years on the trot. I found Spotify as an alternative which became a permanent thing.

However, a few weeks after I canceled XM, lo and behold, I started getting the same offers I was rejected for before.

What a shame, they lost a long time customer over lack of retention discounts.

LoL 😆 🤣 😂
Howard is not a selling point. Have you listened to him this decade? That show is terrible. It's stale unfunny and is exactly the show that young Howard made fun of. He's a greedy scumbag user. He has zero loyalty to his team. Look up the story of how he treated Scott the engineer when his wife had terminal cancer. Howard is a real POS.
Wiggy is absolutely a shell of himself. Sirius is total trash and I have never subbed. I listen to Hampton Howie free (torrents) but if I can connect easily with the XM app Ill take it. Currently on the free 3month trial (no credit card info etc) I will plan on extending this as long as I can. What do you listen to on SXM then?

I call their Retention Department yearly and get $60 for the year. They do include taxes and those phony fees so about $75. If the first person doesn't come down, hang up and call back for another operator. Good luck!!!

I was doing $1/mo for 3 months for the past 18-24 months. Right before I hung up, They would always say, "did you get an email for $3 for 3 months" , and I'd say, Why, yes! Yes, I did." A couple of wks ago I went thru the "please cancel, I can't afford your $5.99/mo offer." But they didn't flinch this time.

It might be worth telling them you got an email with that offer and see if you can get it. $3 for 3 months.

I might be replacing my klunker soon, and a few car companies offer 1yr free sirius with a new puchase, so I may hold off on another sirius sub until the car gets replaced.
See above. Give it a try.

I got 1 year for 99$ or 6 months for 29.94$. The year savings show savings of $116 and the 6 months savings would be 78$. The lineup would be the same, am I missing something ? How would the 1 year be a better deal than 6 months.

Don't forget Privacy.com, I just signed up with them a couple of days ago to use on the free month of Paramount+.
Privacy.com is an interesting service. The idea is great but you must link to your bank account or check card. It's not a good idea to use a check card because it's protections are inferior to credit cards. Not comfortable giving them direct access to bank account.

The odds of this company existing in 5 years is slim
I think you underestimate the number of older people in this country with disposable income. As long as they are pre-installed options in vehicles, they will continue to exist.

Every time my annual "deal" is up, I always try to convince myself to cancel. I commute 30 minutes each way to work and listen to 5 channels primarily. the repetition is starting to get annoying, even at 5 dollars a month. If I want repetition, I'll just put on my Spotify "favorite" list. Also, 5 bucks for Howard Stern is a stretch as well since he's become such a talking head douche in the last few years.

Ditto. I hate that I have to call every year and haggle with them but I do it to get the $5/mth.
