Better get it now and have it installed before YouTube gets removed. I am slowly moving all tv away from Roku. Too many disputes. 1st it was HBO that took about 8 months to resolve, the. YouTube TV, now YouTube and I read that there is a dispute with Amazon.in the horizon.

There are not 2. There is no 2021 Ultra. So this is the newest Ultra Roku, 4800R.

Yes, this is a great device. Very fast and reliable. People will complain about everything on the internet, I had the previous generation and couldn't be happier. My 4 years old uses it with no help, this is big for people with small kids.

The thing that I like about roku is its mobile app. Learnt it just a while back and the private listening is the one that stand out from other platforms.
I like apple air play too to cast anything from a apple device like iphone or macbook.

Is it worth an upgrade over the 2018 ultra? I got a lot of audio lag issues on HBOMax and amazon apps.. wondering if this would fix that.

This deal geatures the 2020 model. The processor has been updated and the RAM doubled from the 2018 model. I can't find specifics but there is a good chance that this one will handle the apps better. It's easy enough to return stuff to Amazon/Walmart that I would consider buying and trying it out.

love the side buttons for mute and I use the Roku App over wifi to control tvs. Hard to keep my remotes straight when I have four. The app runs all if I just select device and also with touch keyboard.
