If you need only wood blades... get only wood blades.

the "for metal" blade can be used on other things besides metal... like pvc/plastic and wood. They are higher tpi and have a thinner kerf producing finer cuts, but cut slower and wear faster due to the teeth geometry and tpi. Also higher tpi is preferred but not required for thin materials. IE. thin tubing, sheet metal/metal plate, or 1/8 - 3/4inch ply/lumber.

If you don't care about how your cut looks after, you should only be buying the carbide teeth blades anyways. Which again can be used on multi material. You can also resharpen the bi-metal blades.

They really suckered you into believing that the blades can only cut what they say they can. Now you have so many "useless" metal blades haha.

Wish these companies would come out with "Wood" blade kits. I have so many metal blades I will never use them all from buying kits.

That 12pc set is pretty good for general wood usage.

Can you buy the other six blades for $2.50 each with a case?

Those 14 TPI will work on wood for a finer cut when it matters, but I get the want of all 8 TPI or less with case for $1.25 each. Me, I would throw those I don't want on Craigslist or Marketplace, or even eBay and get rid of them.

I've been commenting this every time someone complains on these deals. I've been using the same "metal blade" for nicer cuts on wood and plastics for the last 4 months or so.

The blades are about 4 bucks each if you buy the same type just how they sell them I guess?

The axe blades are phenomenal for demo nail embedded wood. I'd recommend 5pack of those on Amazon if you want wood blades, they LAST

There Zall blades have always been my go to blades for 40 years, and I have tried most of them on the market.

Home Depot has a nice deal on the 20 piece Milwaukee recip blade set [homedepot.com], 20 pieces for $20. Most of them are for cutting steel, which is a good deal if your looking for those type of cutting blades.
