Then spend another 20$ on RGB fans and your upto 80$. Which last I checked is double the price of this case. They really can't be compared. 40$ case with "RGB" ish lights is still a bargain. There's people out there who are Doing budget builds and they don't have 1-2 months to wait for the Corsair to go on sale. Also the Corsair although very nice, has no flash. It's pretty plain looking and all the kids these days want the flashy lights
Exactly. And for some reason every SD "review" I see of liquid coolers or cases is just someone talking about the stock fans. Which you're gonna probably want to throw out anyway. Unless you get a one with already good fans which is pretty rare and expensive

I would jump on this case if the fans were ARGB.
Uh ok. Too bad they're permanently soldered in or something?

They are LED molex daisy chained fans. Again. Once you spend 20-30$ on a decent set of RGB fans your 40$ case turns into 70$ and for that price you could have gotten a phanteks 400a or something with full on ARGB
Got this the last one around. It's cheap... Like, not worth $40 cheap. Paper thin metal, as others ahve mentioned, fans are rainbow RGB only, loud, and on mine the logo was tilted. Rushed job with no QC.
I have my living room PC in this case. It was a very nice purchase for the price. You have to be pretty experienced with janky parts to use it. A couple of the motherboard screws literally wouldn't fit in the slot, but I just used four screws and called it good. The fans are horrible too. Plan on replacing the front oversized fans with noctua if you don't want to hear a swarm of bees.
I got this case last week and been using it. The top of the case couldn't fit ARCTIC Liquid Freezer II 240. The case wasn't tall enough to clear the motherboard VRM heatsink. The motherboard was GIGABYTE B550M AORUS PRO.The front also doesn't fit AIO (all in one). The screw holes doesn't line up. Since I was building 2 rigs, I ended up using this case with 5600g with stock cooler. The fans are super quiet! However, it uses Molex connectors (wish it was 3 pins). And no, you cannot change colors..it's RGB just same pattern over and over. The back of the case doesn't have a big gap for cable management or a RGB fan hub. But there is a slot near the front which you can route your cables. Overall, for 41$ it's a good deal...if you're planning to build without AIO cooler.
Spend the extra $20 to get a corsair 4000d when it frequently goes on sale for $60. Quality is like night and day over the montech. Goofy chin rainbow fans are cheap on Amazon if you want them.
I would spend $10 more on top of your suggestion to get 4000d air 😀
Even at that price, I'd say stay away. Sure it "looks" nice, but the design and quality is terrible. I can't believe companies still use these terrible designs with zero cable management space in the rear. Not only that, but the material is the thinnest sheet metal you can possibly imagine. About the only positive thing about this case is the airflow is pretty good. Still, I'd recommend spending $25 more for an NZXT case or something.
