As a teacher these are THE pencils to get. You'll love these, students will love these, the teacher down the hall will be jealous. (i mean I guess you can share w/ them) So worth it!

$4.49 for 96-pack of TICONDEROGA Pencils, Wood-Cased, Unsharpened, Graphite #2 HB Soft

What would be a lifetime supply for a normal person will probably last our household about two months due to the pencil-eating black hole that evidence seems to suggest is present. I did rescue a few yesterday from under the couch cushions, but from now on I'm leaving them in peace, as these pencils is cheap as free.

Also am I the only one who thought the brand was "Tigercondra?"

You have no idea how much better these are than generic Walmart/Target pencils until the second or third time you try to sharpen them and the lead doesn't break off inside. Thank you, OP.

Teachers often have to buy their own or the kids have to bring their own so I just bought 16 boxes to give to teachers. stinks teachers have to buy pencils.
