Does the Pro have the ability to automatically output to speakers (via 3.5mm) when you switch off the headset like the PC version of the 7 does?

If you can spend it, these are great. They are heavy though. And I didn't like the strap on top so I just added some layers of foam tape, which made them way more stable and comfortable

Steelseries 7 is basically the same for 100$ in my opinion. All this has different is the battery and DAC

That's not entirely true. The sound quality on the pro is much better, which for headphones is like the main thing. In addition, the pro can do dual Bluetooth and 2.4 wireless. The battery swapping is a cool feature but the per battery life takes a hit (isn't really an issue).

The main issue is that the 7x is wireless compatible with ALL systems; pro is wireless compatible with PS and PC only. For me, the 7x is the only headset that maintains a perfect Xbox wireless connection.

Bought these 2019 when SteelSeries had their Cyber Monday sale for $195. Awesome headsets. The best for PS4/PS5. Best feature is the swabable batteries. They sound amazing with enhanced dolby digital sounds. I am suprised that SteelSeries did not do a BF or Cyber sale this year.

I've been waiting for a $250ish sale since March of last year for these.

I wish there was some kind of promo code out there to use on this. I'd pull the trigger.

As far as I know, these are the only ones that can simultaneously connect to your pc and your mobile phone. That has come in handy for taking incoming calls while playing a game.

The dual batteries is also a major plus and the fact that the sides come off with magnets means you won't have to worry about clips breaking. I change my battery about once a week and the fresh one in the charger is always ready.
