Newegg's free shipping is super slow now compared to what it was like years ago. Disappointing, but free shipping is free.
Appears the shipping itself is only 4 days, took Newegg 9 days to get it to UPS. I'm not mad, figured it'd take a bit but incase anyone was wondering.

Not worth the hassle? That's the point.

I haven't done a rebate offer in a while, but it was a thing of mine back in the prime days of Slickdeals. I started logging my rebates in 2015, and of the 70+ rebates I've done since, there was a 100% success rate. Only 1 company has ever been REALLY shady about it, from what I recall (a RAIDMAX rebate).

Attached a snip of my rebate log sheet EEK! Date mailed, and date received. Just something to think about Wink
Do you get a ton of junk mail?

I consider rebates a way for manufacturers to get my name & address so they can market to me later. Or worse, rent my name to marketing companies.

I won't give the manufacturer my info for $20. Some of your rebates were pretty small so it was like selling your info for only $5.

everyone's bickering about the rebate, but isn't 95 still pretty good for a Gen 4 1tb?

Yes, especially for one at this rated speed with error correction. Slower Gen3 sell for this much or more.

the speed rates are good for PS5?
a fellow user here got it and his read speed was 5600, another user on reddit had the same speed. a youtube tester also had the same speed. for some reason mine is only 3800, it might be the cheap generic heatsink that i'm using.

Quick question for those installing these in a PS5 with a heatsink. Do you have to remove the MSI label on the SSD and any other labels before attaching the thermal pad and heatsink?

How am I supposed to get the money if i just placed my order? Don't i need the item in my hands before 12/6 (which is impossible) to get the rebate money?
I believe you need to have the date on your invoice be before 12/6, and the rebate needs to be submitted/postmarked if mailing before 12/27. There's a rebate form on the product page where you can view terms of the rebate, and somewhere on MSI's website is a form to submit the rebate digitally.

YES, and you have to use sort of "thermal pads" between them. Some SSD, like Samsung claimed that their "name tab" can be use as thermal pad, I never use that way

MSI isn't showing there is a rebate for this one. Just checked for rebate number 93789. Searching using the UPC give last rebate Newegg offered.
