Yes this is garbage. If you want a decent entry level every day carry (edc) find an on sale Kershaw then move up to a hundred dollar spiderco or benchmark.

Most every "name brand" knife is complete crap.

Bought a few last year at this price. They are a $10 knife no more, no less. Great for keeping in the glove box of each car but much better knives can be had for a few more dollars.

SOG makes some great <$50 EDC that are not Chinese.
I dont think I'll ever spend benchmark money on a folder. I'd just be afraid to lose it.
