For those who don't quite need over 500GB of fast storage space, this seems to be a good deal on a refurb 870 evo ssd internal sata drive.
(Usage isn't strictly for internal drive only, but usually it is.)
Samsung 870 Evo 500GB ($39.99):

Samsung 870 Evo 1TB ($69.99):

(These items frequently go back in stock and oos much, so if you don't see it in stock check back in a few hours every so often...)
Other notable internal SSD refurbs:
Samsung 970 EVO Plus 500GB M.2 NVMe ($44.99):

2) I took a flyer on one of these, installed and then tested using Samsung software. Everything checked out. Not a gamer, but for running windows on my wife's PC, she's getting substantially better performance than I would have from new a "bargain" drive.
3) I registered the product using the serial number at Samsung.com and was notified that it's under warranty through April 30, 2025 (which would be 5 years from the manufacture date). Not a full 5 years, but a lot better than 90 days.
4) I ordered a 1TB 980 for my own PC.
