This just bring back my memories of CD-ROM drive, the speed just kept increasing that I couldn't keep up. If you know what I mean, you're old.

Kenwood TrueX 72X CD-ROM, using the unreliable and failure prone multi-beam laser tech from Zen to reach basically the fastest CD-ROM speeds possible. https://hothardware.com/reviews/k...drom-drive

None of the just released apple products are WiFi 6e capable. It's just not worth upgrading yet unless you have a specific use case. Orbi has released a quad band 6e router, but I hope eero releases an updated Pro with quad bands at some point.

Limited use and while the price is not bad still not great. Even with 6E add on cards the usefulness of this is not that great cause of the short range pretty much if its not same room your better off with wifi 6.

I remember. I remember the first time I heard a 52x wind up to escape velocity, and sat there in the shadow of it's ominous hum, anxiously contemplating the odds of next 3 minutes bringing me EITHER...a freshly new burned audio mix in 1/4 the time, OR, losing the $0.25 CD-R and my new drive to a polycarbonate grenade.

This, for those unaware, is the nerd's version of drag racing LMAO

Was thinking the same thing. It's at least two antenna short of what I need.

I preordered this one and got about a year ago or whenever it first released for $650. It's not worth it. Constant issues and not the greatest range. Honestly I wish I could sell this for anywhere near $500 and get something else. Just get a good WiFi 6 router (mesh if you have a decent sized place and want access on your entire property).
